How to use this Tool:

1) This tool is intended to help process an application to take water from any water resource. You can use it to see what the possible impacts and benefits of your intended water use could be.
2) The Tool is divided into two sections; The first assesses the possible impacts of your intended water use on aquatic ecosystems and other users. The second measures the possible benefits of the water use in terms of redress, employment creation, and meeting government's key objectives.
3) You can assess the relative impacts by answering a series of questions (by clicking in the yes, no or don't know boxes).
4) If you need more information on how to answer a question hover your mouse over the [?].
5) Once you have answered all the questions click on [results].

The final answer will be plotted onto the blocks below. Hover your mouse over the block with the dot in it to see how your application may be processed.
