Department of Water and Sanitation in Limpopo participated at the Batho Pele Outreach Programme in Modimolle, Waterberg District Municipality. The programme, initiated by Modimolle-Mookgopong Local Municipality, aimed at taking essential services to the people. DWS was alongside other departments and entities, including the provincial government.

Ms Koroso Moloto from DWS Communications Sub-Directorate sharing with the community the mandate of the department and services that could be offered directly to community members like applications of water use licenses for those having businesses

Ms Moloto also delivered the departmental message on infrastructure vandalism, urging community members to report anyone destroying the resources government put in place and tempering with service delivery

She also shared water saving tips and touched on the issue of water leaks, that they need to be treated as a matter of urgency whenever they happen and be reported to the municipality
