Implications of the conform constraint.

Now we wish to reduce the constraint that locally angles must be preserved across the projection to some form of mathematical equation. To this end we calculate the angle between two small displacements relative to a point on the surface of the earth. We can also calculate the angle between the projections of these points. The conformal constraint says that these two angles, that on the earth and that on the map must be the same.
