Formal definition

A regional area, normally with regional geological structures where potential boreholes can be sited.  Infrastructure for these potential boreholes must be available.

Description

An area 10 of kilometers squared with a high potential for successful boreholes.

Why is the target zone important?

Delineating target zones is the first step in siting successful boreholes.
