Formal definition

A smaller area within a target area with the potential for high yielding boreholes.

Description

An area of a couple meters squared with a high potential for successful boreholes.  For example a new borehole in a current wellfield.

Why is target site important?

Identifying target sites is the final step in siting potentially successful boreholes.
