STEERING COMMITTEE

The primary function of the Study Steering Committee (SSC) is to provide guidance for the development of the Richards Bay Reconciliation Strategy and to make sure that the various sectors in the study area are participating in its development and assume ownership of the strategy. This Committee has representatives from all provincial government departments involved in water resources management, conservation organizations, agriculture, District and Local Municipalities in the study area, Water Boards and Water User Associations as well as the DWS National and KZN Provincial Offices.
