The Strategy Steering Committee for the development of the 2015 Reconciliation Strategy was revitalised and the role of the committee for this study is to:
- Provide executive guidance to the direction and outcomes of this study;
- Make available supplementary information and input from a local and regional perspective;
- Facilitate strategic linkages with other initiatives;
- Disseminate information from this study to the relevant organisations;
- Incorporate strategies’ recommendations into development plans such as Integrated Development Plans (IDPs), etc;
- Ensure the implementation of the strategy recommendations.
