The purpose of the stakeholder engagement component of study is to obtain input and buy-in from stakeholders to maintain and implement the Reconciliation Strategy, by raising stakeholder awareness and by facilitating stakeholder consultation and feedback.
The following activities are undertaken in terms of stakeholder engagement:
- Announcement of the study and the revival of the Strategy Steering Committee (StraSC);

- Prepare and keep an updated stakeholder database;
- Compile and distribute newsletters and media releases;
View first newsletter
- Assist with updating the web page to ensure access to information;
- Conducting six Strategy Steering Committee meetings which will be held on a six-monthly basis during the study.
