in the magisterial districts of Laingsburg and Beaufort West in the last 12
months, (b) what did the costs of these projects amount to for each month,
(c) who paid the costs and (d) who provided transport for the workers;
2. whether any of these transport contractors is receiving any other
remuneration from the relevant local authority or any government department;
if so,
3. whether approval was granted to the transport contractors by the relevant

(i) national and (ii) local government level for developing the Muniwater
program, (b)(i) how many versions of the Muniwater program have been
developed since its initiation and (ii) why have so many versions been
developed since its initiation, (c) what are the reasons for the decision to
test the Muniwater program at geographic locations with substantial
groundwater supplies, but remote from Pretoria and (d) what is the extent to
which (i) the relevant managers within his department were informed of the
exact nature of the Muniwater program and (ii) any manager or managers within
his department are able to operate the program;
(2) whether his department (a) attempted at any stage to purchase existing
computer programs which could have been adapted to accommodate the
requirements of this venture, (b) tasked any officials to explore the
possibility of purchasing such programs and (c) conducted any investigations
to ascertain whether there were any programs in existence which could meet
the requirements; if so, what are the relevant details;
(3) whether his department will make available the details of the log-book
records of the subsidised vehicles used by two engineers in the employ of his
department for the purpose of testing the Muniwater program together with the
relevant local authorities and consultants; if not, why not; if so, what are
the relevant details;
(4) whether the Muniwater program is viable for continued implementation by
local authorities; if not,
(5) whether he requested that the use of this program be discontinued; if so,
