Water quality data exploration tool: layers

Supporting data for use in Google Earth:

• The quaternary drainage region labels (not outlines) in KMZ (e.g. A23B).
• Maucha legend in top left hand corner of Google Earth display.
  Warning: depending on the memory available, the following large KMZ outlines, despite being simplified to reduce size, may slow down Google Earth or even cause it to crash.
  Note that outlines are provided for convenience, and are not definitive.
• The South African primary drainage regions (top-level catchments) in Google Earth KMZ format (1 Mb).
• The nine South African water management areas (year 2012) (KMZ 1.4Mb).
• The nineteen South African water management areas (year 2004) (KMZ 1Mb).
• The secondary drainage regions (KMZ 4Mb).
• The tertiary drainage regions (KMZ 5Mb).
• The quaternary drainage regions (KMZ 5.5Mb).
• The quaternary drainage regions sorted and shaded for masking - tick or untick a quaternary - can also change the transparency (KMZ 10Mb).
• The rivers in South Africa and in connected drainage regions (single KMZ 14Mb file).
  Select drainage regions and whether arcs and labels should be on or off.
  Alternatively, select the KMZ file for a single primary drainage region from the "Overlays" section in the table of files.
